The Pepper Patch

The Bridge

An early appointment at the transplant clinic and a foggy drive in to Tampa, though once I got to the hospital it had started to burn off. My blood-work and test results all looked good so I've graduated to followup visits every six months. Tomorrow I have two spots of skin cancer (not unusual because of the anti-rejection drugs) taken off my face.

The really good news - Hepatitis C has been the biggest risk to the stability of my transplanted liver, but I've had undetectable viral loads for a year now. For the first time since I went off the new HepC anti-viral drugs, I heard the docs use the word "cure". Yes!

Life is good .... and the adventure continues.
