Intense concentration

A day spent stirring slurry. The tank under the slats is full and it needs to be pumped out into the slurry store until we are allowed to spread it in the spring. It first has to be mixed to make it liquid enough to pump. This is one of Patch's favourite sports,watching the slurry mix .She will quite happily stand like this all day if nothing more exciting is happening.
Had to go and calve a cow after tea. A muckle big heifer calf. All fine till it got stuck at the hips coming out. Eventually got it calved.As long as the cow gets up it will be fine.
