Day One

The builder arrived at 8.00 am, and by the time I left for work he'd parked his van and got cracking with his hammer. He and Ma B marvelled at what was revealed, especially the oak beam the length of the living room, and the seven layers of wallpaper that came off first. More to come as we discover what lies behind three centuries of plaster. Ha ha!
