The problem with shopping in a place you think you know!!!

Two years ago today Philip and I spent our first night in our new home! We had bought a bed from Ikea (having researched it on the English website first). We were not to know that in Switzerland the mattress base was sold separately! Hence, when we built it the mattress had nothing to sit on! Our first night (and a very late one by the time we had built the thing!) was spent on the mattress on the floor.

However, we were so delighted to be in our own home that we didn't care - and Murph was comfy!

It is now a very big bed on my own - but Murph and I do our best to fill the space!
