The site of the cattle market and abattoir, next to the railway station, is now urban development. A supported living complex is called Farmers Court. How long will the reason for the name be remembered. I wonder? On a visit today I was delighted to see that there is a carefully nurtured garden. Only visible to residents but a view point to see trains going through the station.
