General Joseph Smith

Ours is only local parish church but it has some very fancy memorial stones in it. I was drawn to this one as it looked so Georgian in shape and reminded me of Wedgewood pottery. It is the resting place of the abovesaid General who died in 1791 and seemed of some standing.
It always amazes me that we have so much history surrounding us in this country that we take for granted. I went to visit Cadman's Cottage in Sydney Harbour, Australia and it looked just like our house. I'm thinking of opening up for tours this summer!
