Christ Espiscopal Church

We pass this church each time we travel west toward our son's house, so today I stopped to take a photo. It was established in 1854 as a chapel, and the sanctuary was consecrated in 1859. The Rev. Augustus Moore (not related to me though we share a name) was the first rector. We began a 7 day trip today that will include Thanksgiving with some family, so please don't think I've forgotten how much I enjoy your photos if my comments are delayed. The trip from our house in Southeastern NC through Asheville, NC, and on the Fayetteville Arkansas is 17 hours driving each way. Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate the holiday.
