You can't always get what you want

Is it really that difficult to put a bit of imagination and effort into our town's Xmas tree.
We have been here 20years, and this must be the sorriest looking tree there has ever been erected in the centre.
The ugly, oversized garden shed that surrounds the base of it doesn't help either. It has been utilised for as long as I can remember here. It does nothing. It doesn't operate as a Xmas store, or show a nativity scene or anything.
All we want, is something a bit more festive looking and a tree that has a bit of greenery on it.
And maybe some cones.
