The mystery reader

In PreK the children have a mystery reader every Thursday for 15 minutes. Since last year Olivia has been asking if she can be the mystery reader for Dexter's class. She has been stalking his teacher and a few weeks ago Dex's teacher sent an email to me for Olivia saying that they would be delighted if she could come to their class and that they'd never had someone so young. Arrangements were made with Olivia's own teacher and the big day is tomorrow!

This evening, when she was sure that her little brother was asleep, she practiced reading to the 'class'. She has chosen the book that her Grandma read to her when she was in PreK. I love how enthusiastic she is!
