Inscription: ‘Dale Chihuly has revolutionised glassblowing, transforming it from a craft to a fine art realised on a vast and unprecedented scale. His experimentation with natural forms bridges the distinction between representation and abstraction while his sculptures focus almost completely on the vibrancy of colour and the characteristics of the surrounding space.

This installation stands at approximately 5.5m high and consists of 1,573 hand-blown glass elements, weighs 2,000 kilograms and took five days to install.’
