A view from (& painted at) the Watzmann hut in the Bavarian Alps near the village of Berchesgarten. It's the 3rd highest mountain in Germany and the highest entirely on German territory at 2713m. Despite the frequent rain and storms, it's a very dramatic and beautiful area.
