Ashley Bryan - Hope Construction Materials

Lovely days filming at Hope Cement Works for Business Peak District with Industrial Director Ashley Bryan.
I love this company and to have such a great bloke as Ashley (who started as an apprentice) in charge is a real rarity these days.
I found out that the heat generated in the furnace is hotter than a volcanoe and that the second most used commodity in the world is cement.
Fascinating stuff.
We also had lunch in their canteen something that I haven't done for ages and as Ashley has worked in Malaysia and is a big fan of Asian food we had fried rice sweet and sour chicken, it was unexpected and really tasty.
I love my job.
