The House Next Door

My traveling without targeted destination brought me to the neighbors of the estate I visited yesterday.

Hardly a few hundred feet apart - for a bird - as I had to make rather a detour to get to the entrance the other estate called Elswout.

There were several buildings on this estate - amongst others a beautiful glasshouse orangery - but this long time deserted manor was my pick for today.

What a pity that such a nice building dating from somewhere 1880's and inspired by 16th century Italian villas is left so neglected for years so it seems - and people there told me.

Or maybe it has ghostly inhabitants ;-)
