Fun Day and Some Fungi

It was a brilliant sunshiny kinda day today with no wind!

I was able to get out for a few hours and clean up some of the beds. The McNuggets "helped" til I ran them off. I'd make a pile of leaves, they'd jump in the middle and flip them around looking for bugs. Adorable but not helpful.

The pussy willow has white tips, any day now I'll be able to cut some to bring inside. I'm always amazed that some things are perfectly green after a long cold winter. The catnip (Charlie will be ecstatic), creeping Phlox, some Mother of Thyme all have nice green patches. I was able to cut some dried Iris pods to bring inside.

Tomorrow should be the same so I'll be at the same place, same time.

Oh...this is the some cool fungi growing on a tree stump. I found lots of nice moss out there too. I might have to bring some in for a tiny terrarium tomorrow.
