Lovely lady

I bagged several bird blips on my chilly walk in the park this morning. This lady cardinal was my favorite. You can see the other birds plus one of my bird watcher friends here.

Our warm up only lasted long enough to melt the snow, so I didn't have to worry about wearing boots for my walk. Unfortunately, yesterday's high wind ushered in temperatures cold enough to make my fingers ache as I held the camera. No doubt that's just the beginning of a long, cold winter.
