Sleeping it off!

Poor Reggie, he ended up having a full anaesthetic rather than just sedation as there was the possibility it was his ear ( he has had two infections in it) that was causing him to scratch, thus triggering the excema. Thankfully his ears are both very clear, so at least we know they are OK now.

Whilst he was coming round he had 'an explosive clear out of his bowels' causing the vet nurse to not be able to eat her lunch given the stench. ( Note to Kagsy65 - there were no sparkly 50's involved) but though they had cleaned him up as best they could we still needed to get him out side and give him a good sponge down!

And he has to wear the collar for a week!

This is him lying in his bed feeling very sorry for himself just after we got him home!
