Edinburgh Christmas Market
Took my recently acquired 17-55mm f/2.8 out for a stroll and whilst I am still trying to master it, I already love the feel of it despite the extra weight or maybe even because of the extra weight.
The extra speed of lens allowed me to shoot without flash and it was a joy to work with.
Not using the flash meant that you could go around without disturbing your subjects and catch really natural expressions. Next time I think I will try it out with the tripod on a longer exposure so that I don't have to wind the ISO up too high and see how sharp it can be.
I like the outline of the onlooker in this one which is why I posted it as much as anything.
