Breathtaking sunset

This time of year yields some of the most beautiful evening skies and tonight was no exception. Megan called me from her office on the 26th floor and told me to look outside, so I grabbed my camera and ran out.

For a moment, I couldn't bring my camera to my eye because I felt caught in a fleeting moment. My breath slowed and I just took in the sunset. Finally, I brought the camera to my eye and snapped this frame.

This is one of those photos I want to come back to when the bite of winter is in full force and darkness falls far too early.
