Atlas

Damp grey day today at Prestwick but as luck would have it this Atlas Air 747-47UF Cargo was on final as I headed for work.

Originally operated by British Airway from May 1999 it then transferred to Global Supply Systems in 2002 before being taken over by Atlas Air in December 2012.

If you look in large however it has a graphic on the nose indicating it is operated on behalf of Etihad Cargo but near the tail it displays the American flag next to its registration number of N476MC.

Who knows, the mystery of the airline industry continues.
