On The Move

A short-lived moment of light this morning on the loch.

Instead of sitting studying in the car until the library opened, I took myself down to the lochside and got some atmospheric shots in the morning mist as the sun was climbing.

The geese were on the move in massive numbers this morning - very spooky when you hear them across the loch but don't see them straight away.

Apparently, up to 20,000 Pink-Footed Geese,around ten per cent of the world population, arrive at Loch Leven in October/November.

I love hearing them although it is a reminder of darker mornings, shorter days and cosy jumpers...
