Over a thousand Minnesotans marched through Minneapolis to protest the appalling, but cruelly unsurprising, miscarriage of justice in the Michael Brown case.

In cities across the United States, similar groups, large and small, took to the street to express outrage in a system that could fail to indict a white police officer in the shooting death of an unarmed black man.

What happened in Ferguson could happen here. It could happen anywhere.
