Minor Injuries

Tony has been having a series of nosebleeds over the last 9 days or so. Because of the medication he's taking, these have been quite copious and difficult to staunch. The most recent one was this morning and on the advice of his GP, he went down to the Minor Injuries Unit at our local hospital for assistance.

They referred him on to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he spent most of the day in A&E and subsequently in the ENT Department. They cauterized the area where the bleeding seemed to be coming from and discharged him, so we hope that will have dealt with the problem. It's been a worrying, anxious and tiring day.
