Out doing some voluntary driving today and while I waited for the ladies to do their shopping at Waitrose I went for a walk around Hoole and then to the canal by the Lock Vaults.

On such a grey day I quickly realised I would need a close up picture rather than a view so I took this of the lock gate on the Shropshire Union Canal at the bottom of Hoole Lane.
