Grief

Is what these two things have been giving me.
In spite of the advertising blurb, the safe sync won't work with really high voltage flashes without modification. I've fixed this one and it now works beautifully with my old vivitar 283, but will it trigger the ring flash, will it &*?@.
So far I've wasted two days playing with it, now it's dark, so my blip has to be this.
