The post man delivered!

2 packages.

One contained the hinges and lock that I ordered yesterday and arrived within 24 hrs! Excellent service, as I’ve been trying for several weeks to find these exact products which are replacements for a small jewellery box that I’m renovating for my neighbour. I found a receipt from this company for things I bought a couple of years ago, which gave me their details. Must keep the info safe for future reference!!!

The second package contained the apology from the Post Office. It contains a package sent by R last week and the envelope is damaged. Contents secure inside, so arrived in time for me to deal with tomorrow. Good excuse for coffee at the Blue Egg.

On that high note we went in to Saffron Walden for a meeting, had lunch at the Cross Keys and just got back to the car park before the parking ticket expired. Food was excellent, but the service soooo slow.

Busy sorting out books to be donated to good causes! Several bags heading north to Lincoln on Friday, those more suitable for charity shops were dropped off today.

I’m in one of those “clearing out” phases! Hope it lasts until I’ve done the clothes cupboards as well!!
