Thin Ice
I'm racing through this week, but not in a good way. More in an uncontrolled, damage limitation sort of way. And in the middle of the chaos, just when I need it most, my car decided to go on sick leave. Lucky bloody car.
But I was determined not to miss the last Photoshop class, which was a good call since I am now an expert in unblurring blurry photos. This neatly reverses last week's lesson, where we learned how to blur unblurry photos. I'm trying hard to dismiss the thought that I could have saved myself time and money by going to car maintenance classes instead.
On the way to the class, I passed the temporary ice rink in the town centre. I wanted a shot of the skates (in a photographic sense) which Laura was in charge of hiring out. She kept making helpful suggestions about how I should take the picture, and eventually revealed that she is a film-maker - a BAFTA new talent nominee for photography, no less. Another example of Edinburgh being chock-a-block with photographers. I'll bet she knows when to blur and when not to blur.
