Ella with Raphael

A big family gathering in New Jersey tonight, sheltered from a large storm with rain along the coast and much snow inland (air traffic suffered significantly). Raphael (middle son) and his wife Shauna were the hosts. Leonard and Adrian (the other two) were also there, as well as Shauna's parents and three of her four siblings (they all live nearby). With the attendant families and two additional friends, we numbered 28!

Ella is Len's youngest, now three-and-a-half, as expressive as ever. Raphael's shirt commemorates the trip for the entire family sponsored by Shauna's parents to Ireland (their ancestral land) this summer--they hired a bus! Hanging on the right is a series of photographs of Max (Raphael's son) jumping at a pond in New Hampshire; this one was a blip!
