More overnight rain has swollen the Herault river. Not yet to bursting point thank goodness but its pretty high, partly due to the offshore wind which stops the floodwater escaping into the Med.

With all this miserable weather we've been having, we resorted to the good old British pastime at looking at houses. What else can you do when you can't play golf?
