One Day!

I am very fond of this old chair at work.

My Grandad joined the Royal Navy age 15 and was killed during the Second World War age 30. While researching family history we discovered that his father was a chair maker and so was his father before him and his father before him!

Three generations of chair makers going back to the early 1800s. So why my Grandad joined the Royal Navy I will never know. My Dad also joined the Navy because his Dad had been in the Navy.

I have never been to sea or made a chair!

But there is still time yet....
