Going nowhere fast

Oh, such a grey day again. First day back at work after a lovely few days' break, so this scene this morning very much reflected how I was feeling. Of course, once there it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, although bad news about a colleague who has had confirmation of needing a heart bypass operation - no wonder he's been feeling rough. So, busied myself with the never-ending task of emails (how on earth could there be 497 unread ones in my inbox?!?!?!) and made a reasonably early exit home.
