Keeping it Warm

Put the fire on for the first time this year, probably the first time in two years thinking about it.

A tortoiseshell butterfly flew out moments later and flapped about for 10 minutes before settling by a light.

I didn't realise they hibernated but when I searched online I found that it was a common thing in Winter for them to be fooled into thinking it was Spring by being warmed up.

I followed advice and popped it into the corner of the garage to hopefully go back to sleep!
