Oversley Wood

Today took the boys for a walk in this local area of managed woodland. I think it is owned and run by the Forestry Commission and you can see that in this plot the beech trees have been thinned to allow for the remaining trees to develop into maturity.

This is a fabulous asset to the community as a whole and it is in the best ten blue bell woods in the UK.

Best access is from the white road which connects to the Stratford Road shown in the position indicator.
