Christmas Lights

Happy Thanksgiving one and all!

The baking I did last night was greatly appreciated in the staff room today. In fact it was really nice to hear that there had been discussions before about them looking forward to Thanksgiving because they knew I'd bring stuff in, particularly pumpkin pie! :)

Tonight didn't go as planned as unfortunately my friend was unwell and went to bed straight after work so I was unable to take a meal round to her house.
So, instead Cathie and I went to see the switching on of the Christmas lights. It was impressive how many people turned out. The high street was still open to traffic due to all the other routes being closed for road works! But it didn't cause much trouble. We then had a little potter round some shops just because we could. Then went home to have a small (big enough on my plate) thanksgiving meal and a silly 'college' movie. :)
