A tree walks into a bar ....

Back in Glasgow today for the Kilbrandon lecture, this time by Lord Hope of Craighead who used to be the Lord President and latterly the Deputy President of the Supreme Court.

Lord Hope had been involved in a number of appeal cases involving the children's hearings system and he reflected on those cases as well as his experiences of meeting Lord Kilbrandon.

An interesting and informative event with a chance to meet up with some familiar faces.

On my way there I toured George Square which is in full Christmas mode. Rather than a blip of more lights I liked this group dressed up as trees. Worryingly they were being followed by a woodsman with an inflatable axe!
