A great invention!

D-Mae, Brain Action, be and I are biking the Central Otago Rail Trail in late Feb.

At that time of the year it could be 35 degrees and there is next to no shade on the journey.

It is a great ride but the sun could be a real killer.

So 'be' has been hatching a plan.

She cut the top off two sun hats and fitted these neatly inside our bike helmets. Very clever and effective.

She modelled the prototype for me, then thought her cowgirl look was a ok too!

So roll on Feb, we are prepared!

Of course, NZ weather being as variable as it can be, we could also strike southerly winds and 12 degrees, in which case we have rain helmets!

be has patented the design and is now taking orders!
