Mill Island

Here's Mill Island, one of my favourite places in Bydgoszcz. It's situated on the River Brda and, as the name suggests, is home to Bydgoszcz's mills. The mills are no longer working mills but several of the mills/associated buildings have recently been transformed into beautiful art galleries and museums.

Today I visited a lovely little museum on the island showcasing the life and works of local artist Leona Wyczółkowskiego.

In the evening me and Cathy met for delicious veggie burgers at Burger Park - yum!
