Waiting for his ride to work

As I left for work this morning, I didn't have very far to go before I had a blip done and dusted.

A shitty cell phone picture I know, but this heron had calmly watched 3 or 4 cars go by without flinching. I was hesitant to open the window thinking the noise would scare him off, I was so close to him.
And after getting this shot, that's exactly what did happen when I opened the window to try and get a better shot.

Ah well. Until tomorrow....
