Fish Trap Weaver

These sellers are allowed to come and display their wares here when there's a concert evening, and they set up their stalls, facing the stage, in these designated spaces around the back of where the concertgoers sit.

This weaver kindly let me take a picture of him this afternoon.

These baskets are for fishing. There is a wide entrance to the hole at the bottom, so the sea creature swims up, but can't swim back out of the small hole at the top of the spout. It's sad for the fish (possibly crayfish or lobster), but a livelihood for the fishermen, not to mention a tasty meal, too.
