Lichen ball

Decided this morning that, as I have no choice but to dig in to my 'emergency' savings to pay expenses for a move that didn't happen, we'd have something nice out of them too. Why should it all go to solicitors?!

Probably a rash decision in retrospect, but hey ho! So off we went to Ford this afternoon and bought a little oak-top table that we were admiring last week - very nice it is too! Then a very short walk on the path up to Ford Moss - another dismal, damp day so we didn't venture very far. This lichen (Reindeer moss?) was on the branch of a silver-birch tree beside the path.

Home, and about to start some serious cleaning and tidying in preparation for tomorrow's house viewing...
