My Tower Poppy
My poppy has arrived .
One of the 888,246 that were part of the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation at the Tower of London to commemorate those who lost their lives in the WW1.
Created by artists Paul Cummins and Tom Piper each ceramic poppy has been handmade and such a wonderful way to honour those who died.
Mine is in memory of Ashton Edmund Bircham 1883 - 1916 and William Henry Carney 1892-1916 both our Grandfathers who were killed on the Somme
