Back gathering with Breagh

We were back gathering today on the farm where we manage the stock. This is when we walk the hill after gathering it once to get any that have been left behind. Its always more hard work because we don't know where the sheep are hiding and usually they are very crafty as they know they have evaded us once. Who said sheep were stupid huh!!

Anyway we managed to find this bunch of 20 out the hill and Breagh and I had to work very hard to get them in. We then gave them their fluke dose and mineral bolus and put them in with the tup. It was important to double check the hill as we tup on the in bye fields so any ewes left out the hill wont get tupped!

It was a nice dry day again, looks like we will be contract gathering tomorrow for another farmer. No such thing as a weekend in this life!!
