Who nose ...

Another day spent working with cattle. Brought another batch of cows and calves in for the winter. Usual routine- backs clipped ,wormer poured on and pneumonia vaccine given. Much like the flu vaccine being given to school kids,this is administered into the nose. Fine if they breath in and not out when squirting the syringe!
Later on,the vet came to remove the dressing on the dig.amp. heifer's foot.While she was here,got her to treat another 3 calves with pneumonia. It has started early this year-usually waits till around Christmas for an outbreak.
