Black Friday

It looks like Black Friday has been transplanted into UK culture.

I have always known the term Black Friday as the last Friday in the pubs before Xmas, when everyone is hammered, the queue at the bar is fifteen deep and it takes you three hours to get a taxi home after dodging half a dozen drunken fights in the high street.

Our commercial spend-fest is traditionally the Boxing Day sales.

Can't complain about American culture too much though.
They have picked Black Friday to release the new Star Wars trailer.
