Morning Light

Lovely to take a cuppa into the garden early this morning, it was calm - yes no wind, the sky was clear and the birds twittered away. The garden was glistening in the morning light after yesterday's rain and last night, everything looked so refreshing.

I do love having roses back in the garden again, this one is Just Joey. The colours are gorgeous and the fragrance a delight, very close to the colours of our wedding all those years ago. Not quite sure I like its floppy form when fully out but as it gently transforms from rosebud to fully open its beautiful, tomorrow this one won't be quite as nice.

As the day progressed, the sky stayed blue and clear, a gentle breeze became a little gusty changing from an easterly to a nor'west, its been warm 23C, rather pleasant indeed.

It's after 5pm and time to get the washing in and think about tea, enjoy the weekend everyone :)
