Ten Commandments Hike

Woke up early and got dressed in my Boyscout uniform.

Had a PB&J waffle sandwich for breakfast.

Dad drove me to Christ Lutheran Church.

Mr. Klotsche drove his son Brian, Seamus and Liam Quail, and me to the Ten Commandments Hike in East Meadow. Other people who were on the trip were Mrs. Latsko and her son Jake (Flashlight), Mr. O'Sullivan and his son JT and his two older younger brothers, and Mrs. Neverka.

First stop was a Jewish reform temple. It had beautiful stain glass, hexagonal, colorful windows all over the wall.

Next we walked to a fire house where we listened to a presentation by a Hindu house of worship. At the same place we heard from a Catholic Church.

Walked to a mosque. That was a very interesting presentation, and the women had to wear scarves over their heads.

Then we walked to a Christ Alive church where they have a rock band playing in the front. The presenter was Romanian and he was very funny.

After that we went to a Polish Catholic church. They share many beliefs with the Catholic Church but they differ in a few, such as letting priests marry. A kid fainted while we were there and there was a big uproar but he was fine.

Then we hiked to a Methodist church. It wasn't particularly memorable. We ate lunch there and it was pretty bad. Hotdogs are so gross.

After that, we walked to a Greek Orthodox Church. The place was beautiful and the presenter was very interesting. He seemed like a very nice, normal guy.

Mr. Klotsche drove me to Park but I walked to Old Mill because Dad wasn't there.

I cleaned up Old Mill because it was a pretty big mess.

Went ice skating with Dad, Taylor, her nieces Abby and Nickie (pictured), Luca, Joe Cole, Jenn, Amanda and Christina Cole, Joe's sister Stephanie, her daughter Alyssa (15), her sons Matt (9) and Nick (11), and her youngest daughter whose name I don't know. Dad and Stephanie didn't skate, though. I was bad at first but got better towards the end.

Got pizza from Gino's with Dad.

Went to Big Hero 6 with some Drama kids. Pat Constant, Dan Wynn, Jess Persky, Judy, Ruth, Christina Imbro, and Kayla Knight. It was a great movie.

Back to Park.

It was Lauren's 19th Birthday. And it was Luca's 7th Birthday. Happy birthday!
