Nice to be by the Seaside

Meet No.40 'Bat' Giraffe, Artist Troy Gutry, Bat is Top and Bottom Right. Giraffe No.39, 'Head in the Clouds..Feet on the Ground.. Everywhere In-Between..And Beyond', Artist Pops Art. He is Bottom Left and Bottom Middle. The baby ones No.56 are from the Schools, Parkview, New Brighton Catholic and South Brighton. They are painted by the school children. The photo in the middle is a shot taken from the pier at New Brighton looking towards Sumner.

It was my oldest sons birthday today and he so hard to buy for and says he wants anything. Because his partner was working today Adam didn't have a car so I went over to his place, which is my house that is going to be rebuilt next year, and we went out to the local tavern and had a fantastic lunch together. After that we went to New Brighton on my Giraffe hunt. Even Adam enjoyed himself and we had a great time walking about and chatting.

It was really good to see some gardening had been done around the place, it is starting to look good again. Adam hasn't been working much over the past two weeks as they don't much work on so he has been taking some annual leave. Thought he would catch up on some gardening and sorting out and getting rid of some junk.
