Taking flight

Tidying up the paper work today after yesterday's full day. Did have a run this morning. The most interesting photo I achieved was of the flax flowers near the street in front of the beach house. My partial red/green colour blindness makes the flowers hard for me to see, but I think it's okay. I put in blipfolio for the interested to see.

This afternoon I walked down by the water as the tide was heading out. Not a lot of birds about. I liked this photo of a white faced heron leaving the rock as I got a bit too close. (Cropped and sharpened)

I've realised that I manage the focus much better on the Pentax, and also manage to actually get the camera onto the flying bird better than with the Lumix.
