Saturday is wine day - hurrah!

We met Lizzo at Ostbahnhof and trundled off to the back of beyond (it wasn't really, but that's what it felt like!) and went to a wee wine tasting at a wee wine merchant in a wee village near Riem.

It was so much fun - we tasted some of the finest wines known to humanity, methodically working our way from prosecco to very heavy (and expensive) red wine. There were also some delicious Italian cheeses and antipasti available to sample and we heartily took advantage.

When we got back into town, Lizzo introduced us to the Gasthaus Isarthor, which neither of us knew about - very small but good.

A most excellent day out.
