Lakeside pathway

Today we spent the morning getting bits and pieces for our trek which we start tomorrow. We've had to get a new SIM card for Andy's phone so our guide can contact us later.

We had lunch by the lakeside - burgers and chips of all things and then wandered to the Post Office in the afternoon which was closed. We wanted to post some Christmas cards to the UK but it will have to wait until after the trek now. In this pic you can see the path which runs along the lake - behind the hills in the background but covered in clouds are the Himalayan peaks we will soon be exploring.

We spoke to our guide, Dharma, who will come and pick us up at 9am tomorrow and then went for a lovely curry dinner before an early night.
