Christmas buildup

After work today a lovely afternoon spent at Suzie's catching up with folk that I haven't seen for a while.

And then on to Wayne and Jenny's for a later dinner. Their gorgeous kids were there - Jess and Owen, and two lovely young things that Wayne had collected on the train on his way back from Sydney. They'd been out rock climbing all afternoon - Sammy and Justin from America and Chile.

This is a gift that was given to Jessie for her 21st (I think) made by local metal sculptor Henrik.
